Great day for a photo shoot… fun kids and overcast skies.  What more could you ask for?

First up, Daddy’s little girl…

He had no fear of the “tick grass” and neither did I of course.

One sneak

Just had to pull this one out and post it.  What a doll she was… with the most unbelievable head of hair on her!

Location, location, location…

In case any of my fans were wondering, I DO travel worldwide for destination portrait sessions.  For this one, my sister client flew me to Virginia to shoot promotional pics for their band/duo.  Over a few days, we scouted out the most colorful locations colonial Williamsburg had to offer.  Sadly no graffiti or giant murals but color, we found…  A pretty blue…

But it wasn’t ALL rainbows… 

There were railroads as well.  (You can’t be in a band without a shot on the tracks ya know!)

Where to nex!?  Anyone in Hawaii need an amateur photographer?!?

Man, what a bad blogger I am!  I left for a visit to Virginia and haven’t quite caught up ever since.

For the sake of my sanity, here’s a quick re-cap of all the mini-shoots I did while there…

Hip Baby A in her BabyLegs…

This little guy wasn’t too sure of me…  but curious nonetheless!

Had to win her over with a game of chase to get this cutie to smile…

Her baby sister with the most amazing eyes…

And their gorgeous big sister.  All of them with beautiful hair!

Such a sweet peek-a-boo face!

These next two worked me to the bone. I think I clocked a couple miles of playground just trying to keep up! 

Little brother finally stopped to smirk at me.

Feathers

Not a typical newborn shoot for me but this sweet and tiny baby girl tried her best to cooperate and I tried my best to accomodate Mom’s request for feathers! (But please don’t ask me to do it again! )

We were going for the “sleeping like a baby” look but…

3 hours later, I still couldn’t convince her she was tired but she finally blinked for a split second to give us the illusion anyway.

I’m quite sure she slept soundly the minute I left.

Autumn

So glad Fall seems to be sticking around longer than usual!  This mini family session was able to take advantage of all the beautiful colors.

Plenty of leaves on the ground…And plenty in the air!And how about a little applause for all the color coordination going on here?

Blue

I’ll get to the blue part in a minute but first…these two!  They were very much into having FUN, and isn’t that how it should be?!  No wonder I love these candid shots… fits them to a tee.

And now for the monopoly on blue I was referring to… are you kidding me!?!  (No, they are not.)

Okay, maybe she was kidding me… (I mean, come on !!)I’ll spare your eyes being pierced by blueness anymore and leave you with another B&W to balance things out!
